Coco's pov
As we stop in front of the school gate, I look at Max. He first drops me at the dorm and then picks me up to send me to school. I didn’t argue with him because I was already late for my first class. Max stops the car and looks back at me.
“What?” I asked in an annoying tone. I grab my bag and open the door to leave.
“You didn’t thank me yet.” Max pouted as he said that.
“Fine. Thank you, Max.” I showed a fake smile and said to him,
“That was a fake smile. I want a real smile.”
“I’m getting late, Max. We will play later, bye.” I open the door and step out of the car.
“Wait! I’m coming…” Max tried to stop me.
