Chapter 13 - Family Matters In the dark, Kyati shakes William. He wakes on a cot in the library between stacks of books. Staying in the library had seemed easier than making his way back to the barracks so late after midnight. “William, wake up, hurry! We need to get on the road.” William starts, saying, “I am awake. Give me five minutes. I’ll join you.” In the pre-dawn morning, William meets Kyati on the library’s front steps. They begin walking as the sun rises. Doesn’t feel like the wet season.
