Chapter 7 - Pratima’s Run
William finds Pratima in the Library’s small courtyard. She’s spread a cloth down and is going through yoga movements. He waits before speaking, as she moves through downward dog and warrior stance. William admires her figure and such graceful movements, not at all like her briskness when she addresses him. Perhaps there will come a time when I can mention how graceful she is.
“The Librarian wants to speak with us as soon as possible,” William says instead, “she’s waiting for us with Scout Abha.”
“Give me a few minutes to change,” she says, gathering her things to rush off. Over her shoulder comes, “I will meet you outside her office.”
As William and Pratima enter the meeting room, the Librarian looks up from a paper she and the scout are studying.
