31 Kai The salty wind whipped across Kai’s face, flooding his lungs with the perfect scent of the sea. Eyes closed, he stood on the bow of the ship, feeling the faint rocking of the deck beneath his feet. Home at last. “This is a chivving waste of time,” Drew said. “Quiet.
