Amara’s POV.
Descending the stairs, I caught sight of Ryder and Dianne in the living room. From a distance, they reminded me of a popular high school couple because they looked good together. But Damien and I were still the unbeatable pair because our chemistry was unmatched.
I noticed Henry sitting alone, eating in the kitchen as I made my way to the refrigerator. I grabbed a glass of water and then turned to look at him. He greeted me with a smile.
“Where is Amelia?” I asked, scanning my surroundings for my sister.
“She’s out hunting,” Henry responded, setting his fork down.
I nodded and raised my brow. Oh, right. I had forgotten about it. It was part of the plan.
“Wouldn’t letting the two face each other cause a ruckus? They’re both powerful, and Dianne will end up hurting.”
