Amara’s POV. The day of the war arrived, and I and the rest of the pack were all set. I took a deep breath before I examined my surroundings. The ship was shaking a little when it stopped, and I knew it was the moment we had been waiting for. I knew what was at stake. “Get ready,” I whispered to the pack members. “We’re going to charge at them as soon as the container opens.” They nodded, their eyes focused on the container door. We could hear the sound of footsteps outside, and we knew the enemies were getting closer. I signaled to the other soldiers, and they all positioned themselves for an attack. Finally, the container door opened with a loud creak, and I charged out of it without hesitation. The enemies were caught off guard, and they stumbled back in surprise. “What the hell?”
