“Rise and shine, Luna.”
I smiled a little at Cindy and Henry when I saw them eating breakfast in the kitchen. They handed me a cup of coffee and offered me bread. I thanked them before joining them to eat.
“Did you sleep well last night?”
Cindy received a nod from me. “Yes, thank you.”
She smiled back as she leaned against the counter top. After a few moments of silence, she decided to speak again.
“I didn’t know Damien had found his Luna. Are we that far away from Scarlet Crescent?” she quipped.
