“Is everything going according to plan, Cindy?”Henry asked with his arm wrapped around my waist.
I nodded and returned his hug. “Yes, but the Alpha King is furious because Amara hasn’t returned to the pack house yet.”
He chuckled. “I understand where he’s coming from. Even I will be outraged if you vanish like a bubble.”
I breathed in. “I know. Anyway, have you gotten any new information? Did they find out anything about her whereabouts?”
He gave a mysterious smile. “You tell me. A person under the water is difficult to find, love.”
I rolled my eyes. “Whatever.”
