Amara’s POV.
I was informed by the pack warriors assigned to the pack borders about the rogues’ attack shortly after sunrise. They were making an attempt to enter the Scarlet Crescent, but there was one thing I was suspicious of. Something didn’t sit right with me. I wondered what their underlying motives were except for wanting the Alpha dead.
They wouldn’t attack incessantly, knowing that they might be outmatched before the anticipated war. That was a stupid plan, and I doubt they were that stupid to invade our pack without a backup plan. I was certain they were plotting something much worse. Perhaps they wanted to keep us distracted, but why?
