Amara’s POV. I went out onto the balcony, the night air felt refreshing against my skin, causing goosebumps to form. I couldn’t help but admire the stars above, shining like a million eyes watching over our pack. My outfit didn’t suit me because I was wearing a long black backless dress with braids on the side, and a white rose in the shape of a crown was added. I took a sip of my wine. The glass was cool in my hand, the condensation causing my fingers to slide. I closed my eyes and let myself get lost in the sounds of the party below. Laughter, music, and the growl blended into the celebration. It had been a while since I had felt this alive. I had missed this place, and the people who were like a home to me. I pulled my shawl tighter around my shoulders, trying to ward off the chill.
