Amara’s POV. “Eyes right,” Masha’s heads-up echoed in my earpiece. Without wasting a moment, I dashed towards the east as instructed. We had received information that a group of rogues were fortifying the Lotus Valley, so we headed there immediately. Despite feeling the exhaustion after two relentless days of travel, I couldn’t complain. This was our duty, and I hoped a cup of coffee would give me the boost I needed. I wasn’t even able to say goodbye to Damien, and from what my stand-in reported, the Alpha King was displeased about it.
