Chapter 6: Helping Others
Owen was brushing his teeth with his finger, convincing himself that wasn’t a ridiculous thing to do considering his toothbrush was only two dozen steps away from where he stood, give or take a hop or two. But Sebastian had promised him breakfast, the mid-morning sun was already brutally strong, no doubt ensuring that Owen’s apartment would be baking, and more so than any other reason, Owen didn’t want to leave because he was enjoying the company.
He was making faces in the mirror when Sebastian popped his head through the bathroom door and grinned at Owen’s embarrassed chuckle. “You have a guest,” Sebastian said, nodding towards the front of the apartment.
