I take a sip of bitter tea to conceal myself scanning the dark tavern. Danger follows me wherever I go, but here it seems…. almost calm.There are some people here: mostly drunkards and a few men who are trying to escape the monotony of daily life. Light conversations filter around the room like a wisp of smoke; filling cracks and silence with low tones. The early morning hours don’t allow for loud or jarring conversations.
