The morning sun filtered through the floor-to-ceiling glass of the top-floor executive suite, casting long, elegant shadows across the polished floorboards. Everything about Knight Global Holdings was immaculate, pristine, and quiet.
Yet, as I stepped into the corner office, I felt a sudden shift in the air.
