Diana's POV I could feel my wolf getting restless inside me as Ava continued to stare at me with those cold eyes. I tried to remember what Trisha had taught me about emotional control. Stay calm. Ask my wolf for help staying balanced. I took a deep breath and spoke to my wolf silently. 'Please help me stay calm. Don't let my anger take over.' I felt that familiar sense of steady strength from my wolf, and the urge to lash out began to fade. I could do this. I could handle Ava without losing control. "Come on, Diana," Trisha said softly, putting her hand on my arm. "Let's just go to our seats." She was trying to protect me, trying to get us both out of this situation before it got worse. I nodded and started to turn away from Ava and her followers. But Ava wasn't ready to let us go.
