LUCAS' POV Lucas narrowed his eyes as he observed Jessica. She stood with one hand on her hip, her left hip shooting out as she displayed her confidence and arrogance in the same mix. Her lips curled into a smug smile as though only she was aware of confidential information. Shifting uneasily under his gaze, she straightened her stance as she crossed her hands against her chest. ‘A sign of defensiveness,’ Lucas noted. “You're bluffing,” Lucas stated.
