"What? That guy Edmond's been sending her flowers every day?" Oscar shot up from his chair, nearly dropping his phone in shock as Rebecca delivered the news. "Edmond's definitely up to something. You better step it up, Oscar," she urged, worried that her brother might lose his chance with her best friend. Oscar, however, remained unfazed. If Edmond could do it, so could he.
