The past few weeks have been amazing. Mathew, Asteria, and I have taken over training in Haven. My beautiful mate handles the hand-to-hand combat while Mathew does the tactical class and obstacle course. I have incorporated weapons training into the routine.
In our afternoons, I work with Dad on the day-to-day running of all the new businesses. Asteria has been working with her mom, Jasmine, and Delilah on a new project at the apothecary.
Our nights are my favorite, though. Holding Asteria in my arms while loving her each night is beyond my wildest dreams. She is my everything.
It's about an hour before supper, and I search for Asteria at the apothecary. I find her in the lab laughing and talking with Jasmine and Delilah. I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her.
