I turned and looked at Jasmine. “We need to do the portal 50 feet from the gate so everyone has room to exit.” She places her hand on Tim’s shoulder and says, “Picture it in your mind.” He looks off in the distance, and then Jasmine waves her hand, and a portal opens.
I stiffen my spine, and we all start stepping through. Asteria, myself, Jasmine, and Tim are at the front. With confidence steps, we lead the way right up to the gate. I glanced at Asteria, and she had a look of deep concentration on her face. The guards step out and tell us to state our business.
“Raymond Carlos and any that follow him in his cruelty here at Black Raven are finished,” I state in a loud, resounding tone. “Do you support his ways?” They look at each other, and then I see one mind linking.
