Maxwell's POV
She walked closer to where I am standing but her reaction did not change. I frowned in confusion as I watched her stand directly in front of me.
"I heard you talking with someone" she says to Odin.
"I was on a call with Gabriel" Odin lied.
"Oh" she murmured.
"Why?"
"Are you not happy that he called?" Odin inquires.
"I am happy" she nods at him.
"But I thought I heard Maxwell's voice" she says.
My heart when I heard that.
"Why did you think he would be here?" Odin's eyes stray towards me.
"Yeah, why would he be here?" she murmured to herself.
"After all he made his choice" she added.
"Don't be upset. I am sure soon he will realise his mistake and come back to you. Because mate bond is for eternity" Odin says to her.
