Maxwell’s POV
I entered the pack house.
“Mom, dad please meet me at the office” I mind linked them. I did not want to disturb them at their room. It was not appropriate as it is quite late. I reached the office. Not even five minutes had passed when they made an appearance.
“Max, what is the matter?” mom looked worried. There was concern on dad’s face.
“There is nothing to worry about” the first thing I did is assure them. The relief was evident on their faces.
“Then is there an emergency?” dad asked as he and mom took their seats.
“No there is no emergency” I murmured.
“Then what is it?” mom looked at me.
I took my time in gathering my thoughts. I already know they are worried about me. I don’t need to add to their stress level. That is why I need to use the right choice of words
