Isabella's POV
"I am coming for you. Enjoy while it lasts" I woke up with the words roaming around in my head again and again.
"Ughhh" I placed my hands on my ears to stop the voice.
"Isa?" I hear Max concern voice.
I turn my face to find him hovering above me. Tears appeared in my eyes. My lips trembled. He pulled me in his arms as he hugged me tightly. I hugged him back and let the tears fall. No voice came out as I cried silently.
"Isa, what is the matter sweetheart?" his voice soft which made me cry all the more.
"Baby, you are scaring me" he murmured as he rubbed my back, trying to ease my worries.
He tried to move away but I did not let him as I held on to him tightly. The fear of leaving him was too much to let go.
