MAKE UP OF JESSICA

AFTER HER DEATH

              Agent Johnson comes down the sidewalk nearing their house and greets them at their door. 

 “I’m sorry for your loss.” Johnson said. 

Both parents give him the same stare as if they were thinking the same thing, instead saying “come in.” 

 “We’re having a funeral for your daughter.” Johnson said. 

  “Really? Why?” dad said. 

 “Like you even care, you guys wanted to use her for the war.” Mom said. 

 “Yes, we were. Now we are not. I must go, I will see you all later.” Johnson said.  

        The Branson family walks to the church to listen to the ceremony and to say goodbye. So many people 

that knew her were there, crying and saying how much they would miss her. After an hour everyone leaves 

and her mom and dad are left there alone, regretting what they did and wishing they could take it back.  

Meanwhile, a conversation upstairs in the church is going on between Jessica and Joey. 

 “I thought you were dead.” Joey said. 

 “Get lost, leave me alone.” Jessica said. 

 “Jessica why are you doing this? Tell them you are alive!” Joey said. 

 “No. That will only put them in harm’s way.” Jessica said. 

 “Why do you have to protect them? They should be protecting you.” Joey said. 

 “They can’t. Their only parents and scientist. They can’t protect a creation that could kill them in seconds.” Jessica said. 

 “So where are you going now?” joey said 

 J.Q and Agent Johnson said, “that if I do their bidding, they would never come near my family again.” Jessica said 

 “Well, I’m going with you or I’ll tell your parents that you are alive and put them in danger.” Joey said. 

 “Fine, but you can never come back here.” Jessica said. 

 “OK. I would rather be with you anyway.” Joey said. 

 Jessica picks up Joey and flies away to South Dakota in the mountains to an old house where she had 

visited her uncle before he died and takes over the house so that Jessica and Joey can hide there when 

they need to.  

         For the next 10 years Jessica and Joey work as a team taking care of killers and threats to the U.S. 

After a day of slaughtering and killing a weak spot in the government agency, Jessica and Joey spend a 

romantic evening with each other. After they had both fallen asleep, Jessica went into a deep sleep thinking 

about the first time when she found out she could fly, she was about 12. Her and Matt would take turns 

jumping off her roof because it wasn’t that high, well one day she fell off by accident and as she started to 

hit the ground and was using her hands as if to stop herself she started floating. When she finally opened 

her eyes and realized she was floating right by the ground she got scared and dropped. Matt and Jessica 

didn’t know what to think so they kept it to themselves and never told anyone. Around two, Jessica wakes 

up realizing she was dreaming, as she laid there puzzled, she heard someone banging on the window. She 

can’t see a thing because of the rain and lightning, but, nevertheless, she walks outside to find Agent Jay. 

She had only spoken to him once before, but now he wants to talk.  

 “Hello.” Jay said. 

 “What do you want?” Jessica said 

 “There is a mission, and since Agent Johnson is busy, I’m delivering it to you.” Jay said. 

 “OK, tell me about it.” Jessica said. 

 “Your mission is to kill your parents.” Jay said. 

 “No! I won’t do it.” Jessica said. 

 “If you don’t do this, there will be severe consequences.” Jay said. 

 “Over my dead body” Jessica said. 

Jay: “Suit yourself. But, if you change your mind, it has to be done by sunrise tomorrow morning.” 

 “I am not doing it.” Jessica said. 

 “Well, J.Q said if you don’t, he will have me destroy your town.” Jay said. (As he says with a smile on his 

face, with a different plan in mind.) 

 “I’m not worried.” Jessica said.  

She clenches her fists in fear and anger.  

 “Whatever you say.” Jay said. 

A smile spreads across his face and he laughs as he gets into his car to leave. 

Jessica goes inside, sits down and cries. She feels a soft pat on her shoulder. 

 “It's OK Jess, I heard everything. Don’t do it. I promise we will find a way to protect them.” Joey said. 

Jessica runs out the door and fly's away until she is no longer visible. Joey gets up, shuts the door and 

goes back to bed, thinking it would be best if she were alone for a while. He would find her later. 

As Jessica walks into her old town, she heads for her family home. She had created a new technology to 

where she could appear as a totally different person, like a disguise. She draws near the house she was 

born at and see’s that the garage to her parents' house is open, so she goes in and walks over by the car 

parked and she goes to lean up against the wall and bumps the shelf knocking tools and boxes to the floor 

but before they hit the ground she waves her hand over them and floats the stuff back to the shelf 

and sees her name flash by on the box labeled, “Jessica’s genetic makeup.” She opens the box and pulls 

out a stack of papers and on the front cover it says genetic contract and starts reading them, realizing that 

she was reading how J.Q. meant for her life to be. It says how she would be a girl with powers, powers no 

one could ever dream of, and she will be designed to kill. To never feel pain, to never love, or have human 

like abilities that make her vulnerable. The box went on to say that she will only live if the government 

wanted her to, and she would be known as the Silver Blue Half breed. Other papers say that she will have 

brunette hair, brown eyes, be 5’5, and that she will live with her parents until she is 18 and then she 

becomes the property of the government. A slip a paper falls out of the stack, so she picks it up to see that 

her dads' signature is on the bottom,  

“ J.Q. our daughter is now three years old I am responding with this plea not to take our little girl till her 

18th birthday as to what was agreed on originally I will create a device that will erase her memory of us so 

that you will have a clean slate so that she will be the soldier you want I will also teach her how to make 

devices so that she will have skills that will benefit you just please don’t take her from us and if you don’t 

agree I have a special file hidden and there is a timer on it and if you don't agree by the time you receive this 

later it will automatically go out to the world exposing you and your secret branch of government.”   

Jessica here's a noise behind her and quickly closes the box and slips out of the garage in a heated state 

starring at her old house where she sees her dad sitting by the window on the computer and she wants so 

badly to go confront him and then kill him like she is order to do but she is so confused on why they would 

make such a horrific deal with a crazy government she bring her hand up with fire coming out of her finger 

tips and as she is about to burn the house the ground someone grabs her hand gently and she 

automatically knows who it is and turns to stare at him with a deep pain in her eyes. 

Joeys POV 

I wake up later in the night to see that Jessica still isn’t back so I get up get dressed and as I head to the 

door I hear a voice say “where are you going Joey” I turn to see A tall man with smooth hair wearing a very 

nice suit and it makes me wonder why he is here in the middle of nowhere in my house in less he knows 

why Jessica isn’t back yet, I ask did you really order her to kill her parents, he comes up to me and says 

“yes I did she is a assassinator and someone had to be sacrificed her parents or you because you are a big 

distraction for her you keep her from doing her best work so the only way J.Q. would let you to continue 

being here was for her to make a choice but agent Johnson informed me that she wouldn’t do that so I 

made it for her and told her she was order to kill her parents so the she wouldn’t haft to get rid of you 

of course she don’t know that there was an attempt on your life I simply left the option out, plus everyone 

wins J.Q. does want them dead anyway, with a sly smile I say my name is Jay by the way, I am in charge of 

her now and I will make her do whatever I want” 

No! I can't let her sacrifice her parents especially when she doesn’t know the whole story and how dare you 

make her do this, if I die will you promise that her parents will never be harmed and that you will leave that 

little town a lone that they live in, she will be more distracted if her parents die, I love her so much that I will 

do whatever it takes to protect her so please let me do what's right if I'm out of the way you will have her 

full attention and no need to bother her parents. 

Jays POV 

I look at this young man intently to see if he is bluffing but I see that look in his eyes that tells me he is not 

which makes me envy of his complete devotion to Jessica. I smile at him and say well I guess we have a 

deal but it could be too late your hours away from your guys home town so I'll give you a lift, I open a portal 

to Jessica's neighborhood and I had him a little but sufficient bomb and tell him to stick it under his car 

and insist you guys drive back and it will kill you but not her and I already zapped your car there 

so ya better hurry.  

Joeys POV 

I go through the portal standing by my car and I just see agent Jay give me a smirk as the 

portal disappears I drive my car over by Jessica's house and turn the timer on and attach the bomb to the 

bottom of my car, then I turn and walk up to the house to see Jessica in the garage so I just stand there and 

wait for her, she quickly turns from the box she was looking at to hear a noise from the house so she walks 

out and stands in front of it and I can feel the rage coming from her in waves and I knew she had made her 

choice to take their lives, I quickly walk up behind her ever so gently grab her hand calming her down 

instantly, she turns and we stare at each other for what seems like a very long minute. 

 “My parents lied to me Joey! They didn’t tell me the whole deal that was made with J.Q.” Jessica said.  

I smile gently at her angry face and I explain to her that after you were declared dead I demanded an 

explanation from your parents because I told them that I deserve to know and if they didn’t tell me I would 

dispose whatever secrets they were hiding from the world and the looked at me and said they don’t know 

what I am talking about so I went and got the box from my car with your name on it that I had stumbled on 

in the garage, their faces went white and they explained it all and I thought that if I found you I would leave 

with you because you’re the love of my life and I knew if I stayed I would never be able to let go so I waited 

for you on the second floor of the church, it was always your favorite place to hide when your parents made 

you go to church and so if you were a live I knew you would come by that you wouldn’t be able to resist. 

 “OK, but their supposed to die anyway, so if they don’t die then Jay said he would destroy the whole 

town.” Jessica said. 

It’s OK. We can do anything if were together, but let's just drive my car home instead of flying the drive will 

give us time to think and come up with a plan. 

 “Fine we are leaving.” Jessica said. 

Jessica hesitantly walks to the car and gets in and Joey gets in the driver's side and starts the car up to 

leave, it suddenly explodes, killing Joey. Jessica is left sitting there stunned, with black smoke all over her 

face with her clothes all burned up. She flies into the night sobbing, on her way to kill Agent Jay. Jessica 

sneaks on top of his roof to see him standing there waiting for her. 

Jays POV 

I would wait before you try to kill me, I wouldn’t want you to fight and hurt your unborn child 

 Also I knew that Joey would no longer be in the picture I told him that you were going through with your 

parents demise I also lied to him and told him that it was either him dead or your parents but that I didn’t 

tell you his life was on the line as well but the truth he wasn’t technically in danger but his deep love for you 

is what saved your parents and the town they live in he gave up his life without hesitation, it stunned me 

most humans are very selfish but not him honestly he could have been a good asset but I suppose he 

served a greater purpose, I grin devishly at Jessica. 

Jessica's POV 

As I land on the roof of the tall buildings in the night air I see agent Jay waiting for me like he knew I would 

come her I go towards him with rage until I hear all that he says to me and just stand there with anger and 

remorse in my face as I choke back the tears so that he won't see me cry, he looks at me like he has won a 

battle like I'm a prize, tricked the love of my life to give his up, but in reality at some they would seek my 

parents death at some point but was delayed because of Joeys actions killing two birds with one stone I 

take my stance and run and shove him off the tall buildings knowing he won't die but just as a distraction 

and as the sun Is coming up I fly away in between the clouds using a portal to a secret location to have my 

child.
