Immediately Don Maximus left the restaurant after explaining everything that happened to Sawyer's boss, Jerry felt bad instantly knowing that he had wrongly accused an innocent man all because he was too blind and hadn't wanted to listen to the truth.
He felt bad because Sawyer had told him that he was innocent of the crime he was accused of. He wished that he had given him the benefit of the doubt and had taken his time to hear his own side of the story.
" Josh!" Jerry yelled for his son who was the mastermind of everything. " You lied to me about Sawyer. Why would you do that?"
" He didn't steal the money. You made this up son, didn't you?" He asked, staring disappointed at his son for stooping so low to have thought of doing something as bad as that.
