I walked upstairs towards my old bedroom. Everything is set up the way Violet wanted. Violet's horrible family should be here any minute. Which means it's time to get my girl.
To be honest, I was more than impressed when Violet told me about her plan. I was already impressed and baffled that she managed to forget to tell me something so important. I almost feel like Vi doesn't even need me to protect her. Now that she has this... confidence, Vi can handle things on her own.
I might be impressed, but I'm also sulking. Like a child. Because that's attractive.
