"Well, that was a fun time," I said as we got in the car.
Janna blew out a breath as she relaxed against the seat. I smiled as I watched her close her eyes. For a second, the world seemed to move in slow motion.
That's how Janna always made things feel for me. Like we were the only two people. Even when she was getting on my nerves. We always had these subtle moments between us. Well, it felt more like it was just me, but I still loved them.
I loved feeling like Janna and I were the only two people in the world. I loved watching her when she didn't notice. I loved feeling like we were in our own little bubble. I loved knowing that I was the only one that ever got to see Janna in her most private moments.
