"You look like a proper young man, my boy." My father said to Joey as he looked at them through the long mirror.
Joey rolled his eyes, not that my father saw.
"I looked fine before," he muttered under his breath.
Thankfully, my father was already a bit tipsy, so he didn't mind the sass. Not that he ever does. My father is great with his grandkids. Especially the adopted ones.
