Violet's P.O.V.

This time, when Greg played the rest of the recordings, I kept my eyes on Deena. I already expected most of them to come up with excuses. I knew Deena and my dad would start spouting out whatever they could come up with.
I wanted to see Deena's face this time though. I wanted to see the fear set in before she could hide it. I wanted to see what she would look like when she finally realized she had been caught.
Much to my disappointment, Deena kept a poker face on as they watched the rest. She didn't give a thing away. Neither did Iris, but she really had nothing to do with this.
My father and Emma are really the ones to have reactions. David just looks bored with all of this. Until he catches my eye, that is. Then it's on to pi.
