Ever since Alec left my office, my phone never stopped ringing. Our new headquarters being pushed back has really been creating a string of problems. Problems that everyone needs me to fix.
Which means my entire day has slipped by. By the time I was able to take a break, it was after 7 o'clock. I was a bit confused because Violet usually would have barged in here by now with food, demanding me to take a break. Even yesterday, after I ignored her all day, she did that.
Maybe I really have been hurting her feelings by ignoring her. I didn't mean to do that, but Violet doesn't know that. Alec did have a point. I should go about this differently.
