Hardy was in Pamela’s office going over the lack of information they had collated after the house-to-house enquiries which had taken place that day, when the message reached them that another dead body had been discovered near the site where Natasha was found.
They raced to the scene, grabbing Sergeant Russell, PC Grant, and whoever was still in the main office and was part of the investigation team on route.
By the time they arrived at the park the uniformed officers had cordoned off the area, and Hardy could tell by the van parked outside that the forensic team were already in attendance.
