Well, at least the house doesn't smell like him. It smells like lavender, freshly washed clothes and jasmine. It's welcoming and warm, reflecting perfectly the personality of its owners. I know he isn't home, but that doesn't prevent my back to be straighten up with tension, or my hands to be shaking slightly. It's so awkward to be entering this house, with his family, on his f*****g country. Somehow I feel like I'm stepping into a forbidden territory, somewhere I am not supposed to be.
