Seventeenth Chapter

Zachary's POV

It's morning and I am so frustrated because I had nightmares about Eveline...she was screaming in my dreams...

If you think that I slept in Alex's room, no, I didn't, after being with my brother for thirty minutes I decided to go to my room. 

As I said yesterday, we have training with Eveline so right now I am heading outside to meet everyone.

As I came there I found Eric who was meditating...wait! What? 

"Didn't know you are meditating" I said, not even hiding my shock. He smiled at me and then cracked his neck, standing up.

"How can I not meditate with such a b***h mother?" he scoffed.

"What happened?" I asked worriedly. 

Yeah, I am worried because Eric had a very challenging childhood. He lost his dad at age of fourteen. Eric really was close with his dad, he was shattered after finding out that his father died in a plane crash. After that, he became a different person. And speaking of his mother, she really doesn't care about him, she only wants him to be better than anyone else in the academy because she wants everyone to think that she is the perfect mother. If Eric won't be the best student, she said, she will leave him without his father's company. And this company only thing that left from his father...

"She wants to give fathers company to her lover! And she is too blind to see that he is using her for money!" He screamed, throwing punch after punch at the tree.

"Is Clarisse out of her mind??" I asked annoyingly and then he stopped punching and looked at me finally so I could see his face. Oh, shit...his face was red and eyes were sore. I saw how his tears were close to escaping his eyes. 

"I did everything that she asked...she promised to give ME dads company...he wanted ME to have it! SHE F***ING PROMISED ME!" he growled and his eyes glowed with dark blue color.

"Hey! Relax, relax, I promise we will figure this out" I said in a calm voice. He took a deep breath and lowered his head whispering something.

After a minute or two, he looked at me, again with cold eyes like he wasn't emotional at all.

"Nevermind...I will deal it myself" he said in a cold tone, looking away. Again he is a cold-hearted bastard...but he has a reason for it.

"You know you shouldn't be like this with me...I understand after all." I whispered but yet let him hear my words. He didn't reply.

And then we saw coming, Eveline. I went to her and awkwardly hugged her. She smiled genuinely making my heart stop for a moment. Eric just nodded at her, what he usually does when he sees her. I wouldn't say that he hates her, even if he shows himself as he does. He just the way he is and she will get used to it if she doesn't already.

"How are doing?" I asked her looking concerned.

"I need to tell you something important" she began and I could see how her expression changed.

Eric and I waited for her to spit it out. "Guys, yesterday I checked on Alexander...I said some words to him and after I just touched his hand and I don't know...something flashed through my mind...I saw a boy who was holding a baby" she said and her expression was scared and confused at the same time.

I looked at Eric who was thinking the same thing as I did. 

"A boy...describe him" Eric crossed his hands on his chest looking at Eveline.

Her look was traveling all across the ground and we both saw how she was shaking.

"B-boy was maybe, six or seven years. He had light auburn hair a-and he had...light green eyes a-and baby..she was sleeping but I felt like I..i  knew them" she looked at us waiting for responses.

"What do you think Eric?" I asked him because he had a face like he did know something.

"You said, a boy was six-seven years old, and he had auburn hair, light green eyes, and he was holding a baby-girl..." when he was saying this he was staring at me. And I knew why he was looking at me this way.

"You think?" I asked him, tilting my head on the right.

"Well, maybe coincidence but...I don't think it is" he said biting his lips in frustration.

"What? Tell me!" Eveline yelled looking first at Eric then at me.

"We think, no...we know that it was Alexander...a young Alex, with a sister," I said.

"It makes sense...He was holding Riley?" she asked Eric.

"No..." he answered.

She raised her eyebrows, "What? How? wait, I thought Alexander has only one sibling and that's Riley" 

"Now, Riley is the only sibling, yes, but he had a cousin, he loved her more than anyone in the freaking world" Eric pointed out.

"wait, Philips and Augusta's daughter?" she asked furrowing her eyebrows.

"Yes. She was born on the day of the attack. Alexander was six when she was born and he deeply cared for her." I said sadly.

"she died with her parents..." she whispered understanding now everything.

"But, Alexander got better after his mother born Riley, right?" she asked and Eric closed his eyes feeling annoyed. Well, I understand him.

"Alexander's mother died during the attack, his father married another woman after two years and that's when Riley was born," I said.

"Wow...life took hard on him...Oh, you are his brother! When your parents adopted you?" Eveline asked me.

"I was adopted when Alexander was seven and I was nine. First, he was closed book but then we became best brothers." I smiled at the memories.

"Now I understand everything," she said smiling but soon her smile faded when she said, "Oh, I have another thing to tell you both.." 

"Alexander woke up, well not woke up, he just opened his eyes a little and called me..." she hesitated but then, "Mirena...He called me Mirena," she said disgusted by this name.

We both looked at her confused. Eric even cleared his throat asking her again, "He called you by what name?" 

She groaned, "Mirena!" Eric looked at me with widened eyes. 

"Answer me! What a hell is this!?" She shouted hysterically.

"Tell her, Zach," Eric said to me with a serious expression.

"When Mirena gets stronger in a different person's body...Alex starts to see Mirena," I said not daring a look in her eyes.

I heard how she breathed heavily. I looked at Eric who was looking at the ground.

"No...I am not gonna take her over me, not a chance!" she said very aggressively and then her eyes glowed light purple making us shiver. If I shivered, Eric hundred percent shivered.

"This b***h will regret that she ever came in Alexander's life," said Eveline.
