“Do you understand me?” Ryther asked seriously. But it was not a question at all. It was a command. Carter took a few deep breaths before nodding. He does not want to, but he must or else, Reina will be put in danger.
“Oh, really? What a satirical sense of humor.” Drake laughed sardonically behind Reina, triggering Ryther’s anger. Ryther clenched his jaw, swallowing his anger. He looked at Reina and his gaze sharpened. How dare he hurt Reina?!
Mr. A’s eyes searched the whole place, trying his best to swallow the acid forming inside his throat. He then caught Ryther’s blazing eyes. Mr. A nodded. “Vander, what do yo-”
