Sage's POV
THREE MONTHS LATER
"Sage, I need you to hand in the proposal to me in a few hours because I need to check it. We're going to be needing it for tomorrow's meeting." The head of department Mr. Romans said to me.
I nodded, "Yes sir."
He always calls my name like that while he's formal with the rest of them. He's older than me and we've talked a number of times since I started working here but I don't understand why he acts like we're closer than we are.
I supposed it's because he sees me like a friend and nothing more. I wouldn't want him to harbour other feelings for me. He's a very good looking man that has most of the same features as me.
