Sage's POV
"Don't you think he'll be mad if you change rooms without telling him?" Doctor Rain asked as I settled in the new room.
I switched off my phone and adjusted myself on the bed holding my belly. It feels so comfortable without Asher here.
I scoffed, "I don't care what he thinks. You said I needed to be in the hospital for a few days, so I want a less expensive room with sunlight."
I demanded a new room after Asher left. That jerk needs to suffer for a bit before anything. I know he's going to be looking for me once he gets to the other room. I can imagine his face when he doesn't find me.
"I just said that to worry him. You don't have to be in the hospital for a few days. You can just come for regular checkups and take some medication dear." He informed me.
