"You're leaving?" She turned quickly, looking at me in confusion.
I smiled, "I'm not leaving exactly. I just have some business to attend to so I'm leaving soon."
She relaxed back on the bed, "Oh... I got confused for a moment."
Her reply was very simple but better than the way she replied to me earlier. She was so mad before that I just had to leave her alone. I thought long and hard about it and just decided she needed some time off.
"So, what do you think of the date?"
She shrugged, "I don't mind. Maybe I do need something like that to get my mind off things."
