Why does he have to be so annoying? The atmosphere felt so awkward having him eating loudly between us. Asher didn't look pleased at all and neither was I. If looks could kill, Lucas would not just be six feet but ten feet underground right now.
"Hmm... The food here tastes great. I remember you've always wanted to come here." Lucas said with a mouth full of food. I don't know if he's doing this to annoy me or his uncle.
I looked at Asher and he didn't seem pleased. Lucas, on the other hand, was giving me an evil grin. Didn't he apologize a few days ago and say he wasn't going to annoy me again? I guess that was all a lie. I shouldn't have trusted him to change.
"You could have eaten elsewhere. Do you have to eat with us?" I asked him, unable to hold it in anymore.
