"You don't have to come pick me up. I'm going to drive there by myself." I told my beta on the phone as I stopped in front of Doctor Rain's office.
"But you're not..." He tried to say and I stopped him.
"I just said you didn't need to come. There's no need to bother yourself over something so trivial." I hung up and knocked on the doctor's office.
