5 The computer screen obediently displayed its facts and figures, but Brooke’s eyes had lost focus. Her inward vision was trying to sort through what she’d just read. She brushed her hair back from her face and looked at the screen again. The article it showed her was about a British Airways accident mid-flight that had taken eleven lives and left one other passenger badly injured. There it was, fourth paragraph down: Mr. D.
