The almost dead girl

Jac's P.O.V

The boys and I arrived and the scent of blood was dominant. I saw the girl first. She was barely conscious and hid away from us. The girl was around twenty and had long, black hair. It was dirty, bloody and messy. Her skin was the same. I tried approaching her but she grabbed a stick and tried to hit me with it as soon as I came close. Marcel, Rowan and Oliver now spotted her too. She was afraid of us and thought we were going to kill her. "Fox? Please change and follow Marcel's scent. We need you here because of a wounded girl who doesn't trust us. Maybe she will trust you because your wounds are just as bad as hers." I mind linked Fox, hoping he would hear it. "Change, maybe she will feel more comfortable when we are in wolf form." I told the boys. They changed and came back I hoped it would scare her less but she was just as afraid of us as when they were in wolf form. After a couple minutes Fox arrived. "Change first." Marcel told him and he changed. "What's going on?" He said when he came back. "She doesn't trust us and since you had the same wounds." Rowan said. "Did I look this bad when you found me?" He asked shocked. "No, she is alive, luckily. You were practically dead." Marcel said serious. Fox was shocked. He knew he was badly injured but not this bad. He walked forward a bit and sat down. "Watch out for the stick." I told him and there it went. The girl hit him in his face and Fox fell over. "Ouch." He said touching his left cheek. "I warned you." I said and he looked at me. "A bit late." He said. He sat back down but with a bit more distance. "We are not here to hurt you. We want to make you feel better." Fox said. The girl just kept crawling backwards, as far from us as possible. "Jac?" I heard Sam say and I immediately responded. "Yes." I said. "Did you find anyone?" She asked. "Yes." I said. "It's a young woman but she is afraid of all of us and doesn't trust us. I'm guessing she is abused in her pack." "And the blood you smelled?" "She is full of wounds, comparable with how we found Fox. Fox had lost a lot of blood, though, and she is just wounded. It hurts her a lot, we can all see that. I asked Fox to come because he has been through almost the same thing, but she also doesn't trust him." She thought about what to do for a while. "I will take Abigail with me and join you to see if she trusts women. If she was abused, it was probably by men and not by women. So I will get Abby and leave." "Thanks." I said relieved. "It is needed." "Sam and Abby are joining us in hope she trust women." I told the boys and they were glad help was on their way. She wasn't willingly going to join us to the base so she either had to be knock out, which we don't do so we would have to wait until she has lost too much blood and knocks out herself. We were in a bizarre situation and we all didn't know what to do or what to say. I smelled Abby and an other scent I didn't know. "Is there anyone with you other than Abigail?" I asked Sam. "Yes, Alex. I told him it was dangerous but he really wanted to help me, us, and Luca told me that women often trust kids and I have to agree. Kids are cute and innocent so easy to trust. He is on my back and we are almost there." Sam explained. We just watched the girl so she wouldn't do anything stupid. Then they finally arrived Sam and a small boy, probably Alex, appeared while Abigail was changing. Alex was on Sam's back and spotted the girl. His jaw dropped and jumped off Sam. He ran at the girl and looked at the wounds without saying anything at all. The girl stiffened but let him go. "Don't worry, we are here to help. You are bleeding badly and we will help your wounds heal so you can live your life again as soon as possible." Sam told the girl and she stared at her. Abby came back and hugged Rowan and kissed his cheek before standing next to Sam. "That must hurt hella much." She said looking from the girl to Sam, who nodded. "We must bring her to the waterfall now or she will end up like Fox and almost die." She said and Sam again just nodded. Sam kept staring at the girl, who stared back. I listened and softly heard the conversation the two girls had. The girl could also mind link and I tried to over hear the conversation. They stopped and all I could hear was: "I'll come with you, just because of you." I was happy it worked. "Alex, come here." Sam said and Alex jumped up and ran towards Sam. She really took him under her care. "Abigail, please help her on my back." Sam asked Abby and Alex ran back to hold the girl's hand. He was so kind. The girl also smiled at him and carefully grabbed his hand. The three of them stumbled towards Sam, who bowed down to let her climb on her. "Alex, will you go and sit on Jac? He is my brother, the other wolf." Sam said and Alex walked towards me. He would do anything Luca and Sam told him, I recon. "Fox? Will you help him?" I asked Fox who lifted Alex on my back. He laid down and hugged my neck, I was OK with it as long as he felt safe. Everyone shifted in wolf form and we began walking to to base. Slowly we gained speed so the girl won't be scared and it won't hurt her as much. We arrived and we brought her in our small hospital like building to treat her. We went inside and she passed out as soon as we laid her on the bed. "Everyone, we need to clean her body. Get as much water as possible and take some other rouges too. "Fox and I are getting leaves and the herbs." Jac said. "I will stay with her so she won't wake up in an abandoned hut and freak out." Sam said. We all jogged out the hut and found the stuff we needed. Sam and I taught the rouges to never run, not even in an emergency. Either walk or jog. If you start running you cause panic and that is definitely not the message we want to spread. If we jog we tell it is an emergency but there is no need to run and panic. Fox and I walked into the forest, we have the most time and need it. I smelled and found the herbs while Fox got big leaves. They were the kind of leaves Sam and I used to drink from if there was no water in the whole area. In the morning the fog cleans the leaves and lets water behind, it makes the leaves the cleanest and biggest in the area and perfectly usable in these kind of situations. We went back and some rouges were already cleaning the girl. We walked in with the herbs and leaves and we saw the wounds. The wounds were both deep and obviously claws and some were branches and other cuts. The story we had until now was that she was attacked, ran away and then us. Luca was outside with Alex, trying not to let him in here. They don't want him to see how deep the wounds actually are. Sam actually took her clothes off and put sheets on the places we didn't have to see. As we were treating her, she shot up gasping for air. "Easy. We are here. We are treating you wounds, don't worry." She said. "Look the other way." She demanded us because the sheets had come off when she shot up. When she told us we could look again, the girl was laying down again and controlling her breathing. "Abigail and I will take are of the last treatments, just leave us alone with her please. She is pretty scared of everyone so less people, the better." Sam said and all the boys left. I went to hunt while Sam was doing her things with the girl. Something was going on between them, I have never met someone who can mind link people other than their pack other than us two. Of course she could have the same but there was more. Why would she trust us at once. Yes, there were girls, but she is still afraid of us, and we could have control over the girls and she probably knows that possibility. I just hope she will trust us one day.
