The meeting

1740 Words
Ruth P.O.V I knew about the meeting with Oliver's and Fox's guardians. Marcel really wanted everything to go well, Fox wanted to meet his saviours and Oliver wants me to meet them. I'm scared to be honest. "I've heard they are bigger than any alpha on the world." I said and Oliver nodded exited. "How?" "I don't know. We don't know. Nobody knows." I didn't know why but I was scared. Maybe they didn't agree with Oliver leaving them and joining this pack with me. They could obviously kill me if they wanted to but Oliver and Marcel both told me they wouldn't. I was called by Luna Blossom because we weren't at the meeting and Fox, Oliver and I hurried there as fast as we could. We saw the whole pack but the two murderers were nowhere to be seen. We found somewhere to stand and just after we relaxed a bit, they appeared. There were two black wolves coming towards our pack. They didn't seem too big yet, but when they were right in front of us, they were huge. I was leaning in Oliver's arms when they came and unlike me, he was very exited to see them. One of the two, the male, slightly nodded at our leaders, and they should. But the other didn't. She should've bowed her head to show respect to the leader of the strongest pack of America. Nick was also kind of mad about it. It was his territory they were on and he is the alpha, kind of. Part of our pack or not, respect should be shown. They sat down and stared into Nick's and Blossom's eyes, kind of intimidating. Then the female wolf looked through the crowd and her eyes fell on us. Not a second later the other wolf's head turned towards her and then followed her gaze towards us. They both stood up and walked towards us while Fox was frozen and Oliver was happy, I chose to slowly walk away. Oliver didn't agree on that and pulled me and Fox next to him. Oliver just walked towards them and petted them and even hugged them. Without even a little bit of fear from their power and killing streak. Then he jumped on one of them, he wasn't happy with Oliver on him but wasn't sure it would be safe to throw him off of him. After a while he rolled and crushed Oliver on the ground. "What the hell man, that hurts." Oliver said groaning and the wolf snorted in response. It was like they were best friend or something, which I didn't know if they actually were. Then the wolf turned to the other wolf and Fox. They were mind linking him, something I didn't know they could. You can't mind link anyone outside of your pack except your mate and family. I felt weird, I just didn't know how to trust murderers. After a while the wolves turned back to the Alpha and Luna and everything was about business again. "Shift!" Nick demanded. I was wondering what they looked like too. "They can't" Marcel said. "Why not?" Blossom asked holding her head slightly tilted and looking at the she-wolf and her huge scar. It was only then that I really noticed how big it was and it made her even scarier. "They were born like this." Marcel said. "Bullshit." Nick spat out. "Nick, don't accuse them of such things." Blossom said looking shocked at her son. "They are way weaker in human form and they don't want to show us that side. They want us to fear them and look up to them while their humans are nothing. That is why they 'can't' shift." Nick said folding his arms. "Why can't you shift?" Blossom asked both wolves and slowly walked towards them. She traced the scar on the she-wolves head and looked straight in her eyes. "She asked me to tell you all I can tell in front of your pack. She doesn't want to talk, they both don't want to." Marcel said. "Why?" I asked Oliver whispering. "Once, you'll find out." He whispered back. His loyalty is apparently bigger for them than for me. "They can't change because they're born like this." Marcel said and Nick and Blossom both frowned. "And why is that. Why were they born in wolf form? Wolves don't have the power to shift and give birth, it is too exhausting and they can't stay in their wolf form." Blossom said, she knew all about it. "Their mom somehow managed it and they all survived." Marcel said making sure his point was taken. "Why would a mother even do this. They can't do a thing in wolf form. It doesn't have any positive things for pups." Nick said, still with suspicion. "If she didn't, they would die. They don't want me to tell much about their past because it is a sensitive subject for them. So please, just believe me." Marcel said. "Believe us." Oliver said. The Alpha and Luna agreed to believe them and asked: "And why do you need us?" "They need you because they want to kill someone." Marcel said and the whole pack was immediately on alert. Nick balled his fist. "I'm next? After my father I am next to be killed? You think that can happen on my territory? With my whole pack around me, surrounding us? What did you really think?" The wolves shook their big heads Marcel sighted. "We want to kill Colin. We went past his territory when we came to bring Fox and we saw his death pit. They've been searching for survivors the past week but Colin makes sure everyone of them is dead when he let's them leave the pack. My guardians made a rule, never to be broken, that they wouldn't kill without the request of a victim of that person. Or someone who suffers from his or her acts. I already told Luna Blossom why they don't want to brake the rule, not even once. And Luna Blossom understood the problem we had. She agreed to request my guardians to kill Colin. So now we are here." Marcel said. "So they've been planning this the past weeks? Without telling me?" Oliver mumbled. The wolves heard it and mind linked something at him and he awkwardly smiled and grabbed my hand to pull me closer to him and in his arms. I loved his arms around me, they were warm, strong and safe. Suddenly I was thrown out of my thoughts by Nick, who obviously disagreed to something. "I want to kill him! If it is true and he has killed my father, I will be the person to revenge my father. I don't believe you guys, you big, black, stupid wolves. No, I believe my mother and if she believes in me, we don't need your stupid help and I will kill him myself!" He changed in his wolf form and roared at the two wolves. They backed away and looked at Blossom, who tried to calm Nick down, but it didn't work. "Damn." Blossom said. "Now I know what you feel like Marcel. Having to tell what the wolf wants because he can't talk in wolf form." Marcel laughed but it was uncomfortable. Oliver held me really close to me and almost crushed me. He also took Fox closer to him. He was ready to protect his own little family that were his mate and his new brother. He was obviously also worried about Marcel but had more confidence in him being safe. Nick growled, roared and snarled while the two wolves kept being silent, like they always were. "He wants you to leave." Blossom said knowing Nick wasn't happy with her translation and usage of words. "Uhm, I believe he said that he wants you to get the f**k off his territory and never come back." Blossom said hesitant. "I don't want you to leave." She then said. Nick head shot towards her. "Nick and I already have a lot of work to do and we really need to help our fallen pack back up. Because even though we all don't want to admit it, we have rolled down the hill ever since Alpha Seth died and we can't blame ourselves. But we need to get back. It would be a wast of time to kill Colin while they want to do it too but we have a lot of work to do and they don't. I, Blossom Wade, want you to kill Colin. Kill Colin in revenge of my husband and to right your wrongs of letting him behind knowing Colin was on his way and kill Colin for killing all those innocent wolves who were once part of his pack, already rotting, and now lay to rot in a death pit. Please." Blossom said and it was done. Nick was furious. He changed back for a second to yell: "YOU MANIPULATED MY OWN MOTHER! I WILL GET MY REVENGE!" And he changed back. The whole pack shivered as he yelled and roared. The wolves didn't let him get to them though. They were silent all the time but Nick's words broke something in them and the boy roared. His roar was making me deaf. It was ten times louder than Nick's and Nick's roar is believed to be the loudest in the world. I was amazed, scared and deaf. I noticed Nick look at us and slowly turning. Marcel saw the same. Marcel began running and changed while running. I was very impressed. He stood between us and Nick. An angry alpha is life threatening and an alpha mustn't lose his temper or a whole pack could get killed. Blossom demanded everyone inside and started demanding Nick to calm down, but he was furious and untamable. The two big, black wolves jumped over Nick and were also standing in a defensive pose. They wouldn't let us get hurt and it gave me a save feeling. Two murderers were defending me. Wow. I just didn't know how life could be treating my and other than by just throwing dice and deciding what to do with me per figure. It was the most random s**t too, like school kids doing such stuff while they're in class being bored AF. All I could wonder now is how life would decided this fight would end.
