The funeral

Nick's P.O.V The death of my father hit the whole pack and our allies. The funeral was silent, cold, rainy, dark and all I saw was black and white and worse of all, it took like hours. I had never cried before, but now it was all i could do. I never wanted a mate, but now it was the only person who I think could've made me feel better. I always wanted my friends to be around me, but now i wanted to either be alone or with my mother. I was always known for being calm and knowing how to deal with everything, but now i couldn't contain myself, I couldn't think of anything positive and I couldn't think of anything else than death. I was falling in a hole, a deep, dark hole. After falling for a long time, I would hit the ground and die. I didn't want to die but I also didn't know how to fly. All our allies came to help me, my mother and the pack. I now had to help my mother with the duties an Alpha has. I helped with the administration, the visits, the food and water supplies, training the younger wolves and a lot more. I drowned in work but saw it as my duty, my only way out the grief and the only thing to do. If there was this rare occasion when I wasn't working, I would be training, sleeping or eating. In only a year, I lost all my friends, my love, passion and life. I forgot what I lived for other than ruling a pack. I wasn't allowed to train the young pup because I would hit them too hard while I didn't feel a thing. I realised it didn't really help my mother'c condition. If our allies wouldn't have helped us like they did, our pack would've fallen down and never been able to get back up. We are like a sheep falling on our back, not being able to get back up, but thanks to our allies we were kind of kept on our feet, but mostly of our back. I would visit my dad on a daily basis but there would always be a lot of people in the graveyard. I changed my sleep schedule to sleeping most of the day and working at night. I had a hard time seeing my mom anyway, she would lock herself up in her room or she would cry all the time. I decided to just make her breakfast and bring it to her every morning when I would go to sleep, just to do something for her. Nobody is happy anymore, even the omega's. The omega's were kind of glad the Alpha was gone since he would often take out the anger on them, but now the pain also hits them. Everyone looks down in the when they walk through the pack house. Ever since the funeral, the pack house was silent, cold and dark. No love to be seen and no colours to be added. Life became boring. Blossom P.O.V Being a pack's Luna without an Alpha is hard. I am so thankful to my son. But unfortunately, I see him falling next to me, in the same hole. We both don't want to be there but both don't know how to get out. Some moves make you fall faster and some make you fall slower, but you keep falling. I am too afraid to hit the floor. I see myself in Nick, the poor boy takes all Alpha duties in once and he handles them well. We both drown ourselves in work so we're dead before we even hit the ground. I lock myself up way too often but the feeling of losing your mate is the worst feeling I've ever felt. I didn't agree at him hunting the attackers down but he went anyways. I will always carry that little bit of guild. I had a feeling and yet he went. I knew something was going to happen but yet I let him go. I didn't make sure he was safe but instead stop trying to keep him here. Every time I went to bed, I had a nightmare. The nightmare was the same everyday, and every time it was just as scary as the last time. I saw by beautiful mate, standing in the forest. His messy , brown hair moved in the wind when suddenly everything got darker. It was like it turned night in only a few seconds. I could see two vague wolf silhouettes with luminous blue eyes, the wolves were way bigger than any alpha wolf I had ever seen. When I looked at the claws I saw the missing nail. Their claws were silver and shone in the moonlight. Seth changed in his pretty big, dark grey wolf but the two murderers were still towering over him. One of them came into the moonlight and approached my scared mate. The wolf was a female, she had all her nails but was not unharmed in her past. She had a big scar over her right eye. The she-wolf was circling Seth and I had the chance to look at her wolf. She was a big, pitch-black wolf with a scare on her face, by her right eye. Her fur was shining in the moonlight and her pure blue eyes, with just a small black pupil, gave light. Her claws were huge and the nails looked pure silver, even though they obviously weren't. Then the other wolf came in the light. He was just as big as the she-wolf, just as black with just the same, luminous eyes. His nails too looked pure silver but he missed a nail. The wolves were looking at the small alpha between them. They obviously knew the was the strongest Alpha of America, but they also knew they could kill him in just a second. They waited long and it gave me hope, they waited just until Seth attacked them. He just didn't want to die without trying. He knew which one was the she-wolf and he thought she would be weaker. He growled low and the wolves stopped. They looked at Seth. They stared deep into his soul. If Seth would've trained more, he would've noticed the wolves predicting his moves. The she-wolf knew she would get attacked and she probably mind linked the other wolf to watch from a bit of distance. The wolf made herself ready and waited for Seth to act. Seth ran at the wolf and jumped. Instead of running, what most wolves would've done, she sat down and hit him with her paw. She whacked him on the ground without even trying to hurt him. The other wolf in the shadows growled at the she-wolf, probably for fighting like that. She just rolled her eyes, it was a beautiful act to watch, to see that black dot move in blue sea. Seth got up and groaned. The she-wolf really did hurt him. If my mate would've been smart he should've used this chance to run, but he wanted to win this fight. Seth took some distance and tried to find her weakness, but he found none. The she-wolf had waited for too long and slowly walked towards Seth. He didn't know what to do. A big animal walks towards you super slow instead of running. He wasn't trained for this. He just made himself ready for a fight on spot. The she-wolf used her head to push Seth, who fell down and got back up annoyed. He should've realised she was way too strong for him, way too big and she didn't try to kill him. She warned him and showed him he wouldn't be able to win. It is something never done by them before. If Seth wasn't so proud of himself and didn't feel like proving himself all the time he would still be alive. Damn Seth. He jumped on the wolves back, who rolled over to crush Seth. He really didn't get the message. This time Seth growled as loud as he could, but the she-wolf stayed silent. When Seth growled again, she growled back. The difference was that her growl was nearly ten times as loud as Seth's. Seth got scared for a moment but soon regained his honour and selfishness. He jumped on her, scratching and biting her. She didn't give in and shrugged him off of her in one move. The other wolf snarled at her and she sniffed the air. Her growl got to someones attention and she smelled others. She bashed her head against Seth's head and knocked him out. Then they ran, the ran fast and unseen into the dark forest.
