Andrew seizes the microphone, and I see Ethan and James exchange disapproving glances, their muttering curses barely audible under their breaths.
"I told him not to do it," Sawyer laments with a sight.
I glance between them, then back at Andrew, puzzled.
“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for gracing us with your presence tonight,” Andrew begins, and the room erupts with applause. “Before we delve into the musical journey we have prepared for you, I’d like to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation. Your generous contributions have made a significant impact on the Women's Shelter, and we are truly grateful for your support.”
Another round of applause reverberates through the room, and I am happy for the appreciation and support of the audience.
