A month has passed since I became the Alpha, and I am now standing on the balcony, overlooking our nanny, who is busy hanging up the laundry to dry. The triplets are peacefully asleep in their room, and I have told my pack to hunt without me tonight since I want to spend time with my loved ones.
“So what am I supposed to call you now?”
I turn around and watch Pike interact with a pack member. Even though he is no longer a werewolf, he is still strong and trains the warrior wolves in combat.
“You can still call me Alpha,” he answers before lifting his head and winking at me. After all, my mate has chosen to lead this pack together with me as my equal.”
I smile down at him, and my heart fills with lust and need. I’ve been waiting to screw Pike all day. How dare he speak so sweet
