He coughed, but managed to pull a mask and put it on me.
"Are you fine?"
I pulled his hand, both happy and terrified at the same time. "Let's leave there's fire and..."
"I set everything up. No fire, but will buy me time until..."
I pulled him to myself and hugged him, without letting him complete those words.
Seeing him is already a blessing on its own. I don't need any explanations.
It was slow, but he lifted his hand and hugged me back, so tightly that he could break my bones if I were an enemy. "I'm sorry. I didn't leave you"
I hugged him back letting the tears flow and he released me, "Let's get out of here"
