I drove towards the school, heart racing.
Riot. Nothing must happen to my son!
I got to the red light, using the opportunity to call Adonai but no response.
When it felt like the red light wouldn't change so quickly, I broke the traffic rules and drove off quickly.
Before I got to the school, Keiran texted. “Don't rush to come back. Take your time and tend to your son, I shall be there soon if need be”
I felt grateful that he cared at least. It was so unlike him to ask me such a thing so it's a rare thanks.
“Riot's mum!” I heard from the side, looking there, the alpha Elon was coming toward me, also looking very troubled. “What happened? I heard Riot attacked Aisha?”
