"He.. He's dead, Eden is gone!?"
My heart stopped. "What?"
She was shaking like she'd just heard a death sentence.
I took her phone to hear whatever she'd heard too but the call ended. I didn't think of whatever anger or whatnot, I grabbed her hand. "Get it together, What happened?"
"My son..." She burst into tears. "My real and only son..."
She couldn't finish, and couldn't breathe. Instead, she grabbed the wheels and ignited the engine. "No. Nothing happened to him..."
I had no choice than to follow Luna Onika to the hospital where she said her comatose son was being taken off.
