Kat was able to confirm everything, when she saw the bodies. What I didn't expect was the massive hug she gave me when she walked into the office.
"I'm so sorry Eva. Let's go out onto the balcony, Francine has something to talk to you about."
She let me go and we walked out, Kal not letting go of my hand as always. I turned to Francine who followed us out. She gave me a warm, sad smile as Kal wrapped his arm around my waist sensing something was coming, like I did.
