My mind, for some reason, was going around and around about Kal's family. I kept thinking back to all the human royal histories and how f****d up most of them are. Murder, treason, i****t, a******y. You name it, it was there somewhere.
So, Ethan is actually Kal's second cousin and his father hated the fact that his Beta, Gregory, was actually second in line to the throne until Kal was born. Gregory is actually extremely lucky to be still alive by the sounds of it.
