I've always hated slavery and the fact that it's still allowed in some cases is because some customs are hard to break.
Even though I'm King Alpha, I've just turned 26 and not even my father, my predecessor, managed to make a radical break with slavery.
But that ended today.
I used the emotional appeal and lack of attitude of the leaders present to contextualize what was happening in front of us all along and it seems to have worked.
